This is so true. It really is hypocritical that coffee is not seen as the drug it is.

Coffee is not addictive. This was clearly made by someone who doesn't like coffee, and can't conceive of any other reason why other people would disagree with his/her assessment.

Oh crap....I'm doomed...I'm a tea drinker :-(

"Tea leaves have more caffeine than coffee beans before they are brewed. Prepared, however, tea is diluted quite a bit more than most coffees. Each will vary depending on how strong you like it, though. I understand also that the caffeine content in tea is extracted during the first ten seconds of brewing".

So, i'm addicted to sugar, to caffeine, to music. I even get withdrawal symptoms when my wife is away for an evening.

Life is full of drugs. Try to live with it and stick to those you can handle...

#2 the problem isnt coffee being viewed as a healthy drink but other substances being forbidden.. we should allow everything .. ban doesn't stop users it only makes dealers wealthy and not paying taxes

Roger is an annoying negative Nellie and Know-it-all...trying to lecture and change people to his liking...reminds me of the ridiculous time of Prohibition in the US...I'm sure he has a few addictions himself...agree with #5
