The Bus Replacement Rail Service (yes, that's the right way round)

This may be the most British video I've done in a while! But I saw the news story and immediately wanted to film it: the volunteer-run, narrow-gauge Leadhills and Wanlockhead Railway, in the south of Scotland, has stepped in to replace buses while a road is being resurfaced -- avoiding a 45-mile diversion and meaning that local residents can still get to their neighbouring village. This isn't the first bus replacement train in British history, but it's pretty rare.

Nice to see them use the British word lol, I have many English, Welsh and Irish friends but i am NOT British !!! I am Scottish, born and bread and proud to be so. I have served in the British Royal Navy, I have fought in wars for Britain but i am bloody well Scottish. Always the same when something nice happens in the UK by a Scotsman or Scots woman they are British but something bad happens then they are Scottish. Rant over .8-)8-)>:)

Well it's good for all you Americans and other nationalities out there to finally get to hear a proper Scottish accent in the form of the driver/ ticket collector. Far too many so called proper Scots going around saying things like Hock Eye The Noo!! and me Brave Lassie and ooH look yee there's Nessie.
The quickest way to starve to death in Scotland of course is to open a fruit and veg shop>:)
