The 4th of July

Guess how leftists, millennials and 'Black Lives Matter' morons decided to celebrate the 4th of July?

Political propaganda? These are straight up facts that you learned in history that this gentlemen stated and even an idiot can look this up, its a reminder of these facts to people who has political agendas. You would know this
that's if you got any education past middle school.

Yes, facts that you learned in your American textbooks, in your American school, on your American TV.
You are so brainwashed by this shit you can't even recognize it anymore, it's just part of the background for you.
Why don't you go spend some time in another country... why don't you go spend some quality time in Syria or Lybia, under a nice palm tree or under a nice carpet bombing, courtesy of your beloved country.

#6 It's not just about politics... this dude has some serious points about the modern society. Whats even worst is that he's kinda right , just look around you :( I'm talking more exactly about people such as the ones with the Tweeter posts. And no ,I'm not some brainwashed American, I live in Eastern Europe.

#3 It is called history , not political propaganda.
#4 #6 Does he really sound American to you ?
#5 Not everyone gets a good factual history lesson in school. They get what
their socialist governments give them.
Anyone ,please show where any of this vid is non-factual.

Why is this idiot criticizing the variety of American opinions and means of expressing them in the current climate? That is what this country is all about. You may not agree with them, but they have that right. Also, does he work for Rupert Murdoch? I seem to detect an accent not found in the US of A at this point. Might explain his Trumpian leanings.

Typical right wing view. OMG, you're not tackling the entire worlds problem at once therefore you are hypocrites for trying to pick up your back yard first.

Stopped watching on the first word "moron", seems this guy is heavily biased. Objectivity is far in this video.

FFS! This guy really pisses me off with skewing the "facts" so much that in most cases they don't have anything to do with what's he's talking about! The Arabs also did slavery? And in bigger numbers you say? Well then that means that slavery in the US was OK? Or at least "not that bad"? And that's a justification for it? Like "stop complaining, it could have been worse"? I mean who is this guy kidding?!?
"90% of black people are killed by other black people". Well 84% of white people are killed by other white people but noone is calling that white-on-white crime. And why not just say "well (black) people are going to die some day eventually so I don't see what are you complaining about"... I mean the ignorance and stupidity of this guy is beyond belief and I really hope we won't be seeing such videos on Snotr any more because it doesn't do anyone any good...

# 15 Wow, your reply was a Croc. Nobody said that slavery in the US was 'not that bad'. However, pundits and activists use it to claim that as the reasoning behind saying how awful America is while never mentioning all the other places throughout history where is occurred (and still does). Those other places get a pass though because they're NOT America.......

'Well 84% of white people are killed by other white people but noone is calling that white-on-white crime.'
A You just did.
B That's exactly how it's listed in statistics.
C That's exactly how it's referenced by people citing those statistics.

So, if you want to dislike the video, that's fine. No one can make you. Just don't make up fake reasons for it.

InfoWars is headed by the insane Alex Jones, but PJW is not Jones. He has a conservative bent (and if you think that means he's incapable of having valid opinions, you are a dangerous ideologue), but he's not a conspiracy nut.

The only outright factual error in this video is the claim that women are stoned to death for being raped in Islamic countries. That's false. When you hear claims about women being stoned to death for being raped, what you have is a woman who claimed she was raped, to avoid the punishment for adultery (being stoned to death), and failing to convince the court of that claim. While there may have been women genuinely raped who nevertheless received the punishment for adultery, it's not correct to say the reason they were killed was the fact that they were raped. A man who rapes is stoned to death, as is a man who commits adultery. So in those situations, the man is always killed (either he committed rape or he committed adultery), while the woman can avoid punishment by convincing the court she was raped. Another instance of where Islam is painted as horrible for women, when it's actually just horrible for everyone.

Slavery was something everyone did at one point or another in history, with very few exceptions. The Europeans, after all, didn't actually go ashore to capture Africans and stuff them on a boat. They bought them from other Africans who had already enslaved them. Europeans were themselves enslaved by the Ottoman Empire for several centuries, who did unspeakable things to child abductees to turn them into Janissaries (think Unsullied in Game of Thrones, but without the castration). The US fought a bloody civil war to end slavery, which killed more Americans than any other war it's been involved in.

The overall point of the video is correct. Those people on Twitter are historically illiterate incompetents who understand nothing.

Great points made in the video even if the "hate America" crowd disagrees.
Other than the small point that #21 argues ,not a single thing in the video has
been shown to be inaccurate by any of the empty-headed down-voters.

#4 & #16 So ok Infowars is a nutty website and Alex Jones is a conspiracy theorist but you have not made a dent in the truth that PJW offered up. Got anything ?

#24 well, if you want my criticism of the content: If you have to compare yourself to Saudi Arabia or North Korea to look good, that makes your point, that you're so great, pretty weak. Whataboutism is a argumentative fallacy and a pretty cheap reasoning tactic. Also, there is some bait and switch going on, because it is implied, that people who do not get on the nationalist band wagon do not see a difference between america and authoritarian regimes.
Picture of sux2bu67 achievements

#24 The English guy was not comparing the U.S. to other countries and world events , he was contrasting the differences. He could have included your country too just to show the glaring differences found there. The "America was never great "crowd in the U.S. is who he was aiming his comments at.

#3 On the other hand if anywhere, snotr is the only place where we can have discussions like that, yes, we get in little flame wars sometimes, still we discuss things....on YT nothing gets discussed, people just trash each other....
Picture of snotraddict45 achievements

Overall it's called "putting things in perspective". A lot of folks only hearing their own political slant don't have much perspective.

#16 Sorry ts, but most "documentaries" have a political/personal slant to them. And agreed, the "discussion" here is much more palatable than YT, I can barely get 2-3 comments down on YT but got to the bottom of this one. Thanks SNOTR peeps.
