when I was in Africa, i've seen packs of cat and dogs hunting for food. Quite surprising how they adapt quickly to their environment.

I'm amazed how they all don't flee when there's a predator nearby, are they that stupid or just playing their odds?

I watched my old moggy ( when he was young ) hunting one day...he just sat there in a crouched position and waited for the birds to come really close..THEN he'd jump forward and catch one...seems he had a bit more patience than some other cats...or ( more likely ) he was just bone idle and wouldn't put himself out to much.
