Thesprotia - A Magic World

Thesprotia is a regional unit of Greece. It's really beautiful and has some old history too...

#10 I could recommend you to travel, starting from Finland, through Sweden and then end the journey at Norway.. Because Finland is pretty flat geographically, so you start from a low ground and eventually end up in awesome fjords and mountains! And yeah, we got snow.. Lots of it.. Though the climate has changed a lot in the past 20 years, so the winter properly starts now at the end of the year, but if you arrive in January-February there will be snow! January, I think is the coldest and darkest month in Finland, and here in north generally, so in February you get a little sun already, so the views should be awesome! ;) And then you should get a glimpse of our awesome northern lights also, when the climate is cold enough! https://www.snotr.com/video/8047/Northern_Lights - Btw; Living here in Jyväskylä I got to know this band playing in this video! :D The band is called; Baulta! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AOPN7apqThg) My friend is playing guitar on it and another friend played a bass for them a short period of time! Check it out, if "post-rock" is something you like! ;) And have to say that, Summer here is also awesome, but then we are infested with mosquitoes, so you need a good protection against them if you dont want a hell of a rash! ;) I think the Sami-region is the best for tourists who want to see wilderness and snow! https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e9/Sami_languages_large_2.png
P.s. When/if arriving at winter, try to aim at the full moon cycle, because then the skies are almost always clear and moon with snow creates an awesome atmosphere at night! :*

#11 Thank you for sharing a nice description of your country...The snotr video is absolutely stunning, I made a comment there..I also like the music of the band your friend plays in...I know most people are attracted to sunshiny beaches, palm trees and blue oceans, nothing wrong with that, but I find northern countries just as attractive to travel to..moon shine reflecting on snow (which I love!) sounds not one bit less romantic and appealing to me as white sandy beaches... :)
