The Power of Top Fuel Dragsters
I took this shoot at Tierp Arena the 11th June 2011 during a TF Dragster qualification round, this particular round is between Risto Poutianien and Anita Mäkela.
First i show the dragsters on their way to stageing line then i place my Casio EX-F1 on the edge of the bench aiming on my water bottle and after the earthquake i show the scoreboard.. enjoy

I've been to a TF drag race, and it's insane, but I really want to see a space shuttle launch. It's the loudest thing made by humans.

#1 I agree, I love loud engines, but when I went to a Top Fuel drag race back in the late 90's, it is almost painful to watch. I was down near the fence and the burnout box and the shockwaves/pulses of sound is unlike anything I've felt before. You can plug your ears and it still makes you wince, and you feel it from head to toe.
Couldn't remember the exact HP rating so did a quick Wikipedia check (8,500-10,000 estimated HP), but amazingly the exhaust alone puts out 1,000 lbs of downforce!

The Swedes are really into drag racing , many of them come to the States to compete.
