Wondering what happened to the initial airport, are they using it for something else...very cool video!

#4 Schiphol fell into the hands of the Germans right at the beginning of the Second World War. Due to its prime location it was seen as a threat to the Allies. Therefore the airport was bombarded countless times by the English and the Americans and was finally wiped off the map.
The map goes dark at 1940 which was a clue to that.

I did notice it going dark at 1940 and figured it was because of WWII...thanks for the info..
