What serious athlete would use shoes with the added weight of motors?
On the other hand, useful for people who are too fat and lazy to tie their own laces.

They should have just said: "Hey, just for fun - here are those shoes from "Back to the future".

But advertising these as something convenient (especially to athletes) for 4 minutes is ridiculous.

I can't wait for someone to ask me : "Hey, is there a power outlet nearby? I need to recharge my shoes"....

Also: "Sorry I can't meet you right now because my shoes are charging..."

Now the question is: How do you tie your shoes when the batteries are dead and you can't recharge them,,,

"a full charge takes 3 hours and lasts 2 weeks"
Cool stuff but yet another power-hungry device that requires charging... >:)

Of course the main advantage of the lights at the back (which you won't be able to see by the way) is that Muggers will see you are wearing $1000+ trainers and they will be in the perfect spot 'behind you'. If you are going to buy a pair you need to learn how to run real fast real quick. :(|)
