#2 True, he doesn't see colors, he must have learned it observing the position, probably trial and error...stray city dog learning..

#2 & ~4....yeah...I thought dogs were colour blind...but their sure as hell not stupid...smart doggy! ( pats on head ).

Dogs are not color blind , they see all the shades of blue and yellow just fine , just
not red or green.
That is why sometimes your dog gets confused looking for the red ball you tossed
out in the green grass for him to fetch. Get a yellow ball to make it easier for him.
Have you ever noticed that most of the dog agility courses are in blue and yellow?
