Squirrels are certainly a divider of emotions creature. They are beautiful animals, but these American Greys have wiped out virtually completely the beautiful Reds that were in abundance in England before the Greys arrived only 140 years ago. There are now only 140.000 reds left compared to 2.5 million greys and the reds have been squeezed into a very small area north of the country and the isle of wight, a 95% decline.
If it wasn't for the bushy tail they would be basically rats and everyone would hate them, it's the tail that saves them I guess, Squirrels and I have a lot in common though and that is simply that we never give in.
