Wow, the stubbornness of refusing to cross the "hard"-drawn line to avoid an accident is strong in this guy.

Also, he could easily have avoided it by not being next to a lorry for 3829302 billion seconds in a merging lane

He got what he deserved! What a complete fool! People like that should loose their license for good. No need for others to be surrounded by fools like him. This could have been far worse. Luckily he got out of it in good shape. Either he speeds up enough so he can get in between the trucks or he goes in behind the truck. This dude did none...

Always respect a truck. They have limited view and longer braking length than a normal car. Im pretty sure the tuck-driver didnt see this car before it was to late.

#6. You are wrong.
It's just over 121 million years, or to put it in more understandable terms, the time it takes jake to cross the road with his zimmeframe. :)

Reminds me of an earlier one that was a little more intense....8-)

And this even earlier one where the driver didn't seem to notice the car...

#7 Now that's the kind of statement a child would come up with uuum starting to make sense now. You've strayed on here from a kiddie site haven't you? or maybe a kiddie fiddler site. I think we should all watch you very carefully.:S

I'd partially cite the truck driver.

1) At 0:14 the driver would have clearly been in view.

2) IF he's a professional, he should have seen this coming with his side view mirrors and anticipated someone merging. Sometimes these drivers get really full of themselves and don't always take preventative measures.

I'm by no means giving the auto driver a pass, I just think if the truck driver is a so-called "professional", anticipating and taking the necessary precautions is paramount.

When I taught all of my kids how to drive, to illustrate how important it is to use your mirrors to identify what is around you, I told them any car approaching from behind and/or eventually overtaking you should NEVER be a surprise. Obviously it happens occasionally, but in general if you're paying attention no one, wherever they are, should surprise you.

#18 Kiddlie fiddler? That term seems to just roll off your tongue Jake. And given your self-declared proclivity for teenage girls and rather unhealthy interest in their toilet habits, perhaps it's you we should be wary of... :|
