Always respect a truck. They have limited view and longer braking length than a normal car. Im pretty sure the tuck-driver didnt see this car before it was to late.

I'd partially cite the truck driver.

1) At 0:14 the driver would have clearly been in view.

2) IF he's a professional, he should have seen this coming with his side view mirrors and anticipated someone merging. Sometimes these drivers get really full of themselves and don't always take preventative measures.

I'm by no means giving the auto driver a pass, I just think if the truck driver is a so-called "professional", anticipating and taking the necessary precautions is paramount.

When I taught all of my kids how to drive, to illustrate how important it is to use your mirrors to identify what is around you, I told them any car approaching from behind and/or eventually overtaking you should NEVER be a surprise. Obviously it happens occasionally, but in general if you're paying attention no one, wherever they are, should surprise you.
