2. thefox To each their own of course. So you are not concerned with Trump’s behaviour, impulsive statements, huge conflicts of interests with his business ties, lack of preparation or knowledge or even interest in global affairs and Amero-centrism? And when it comes to power projection - then he will 'bomb the shit out of them' and of course he 'knows more about ISIS then the generals'
I have to ask – why you not concerned? Just one example from 3 days ago. How can Trump’s tweeted (of course) apparent embrace of nuclear proliferation and statement ‘“Let it be an arms race [with Russia and nukes] We will outmatch them at every pass and outlast them all.” Not concern you?
What is it about Trump that gives you confidence and a sense of comfort?

#(removed comment) This video isnt about Trump being a good or bad choice. Its about a LOT of people misreading the pulse of society and thus saying Trump was no choice. They did not listen to his message, true or not(probably not off course) about how the middle-poor class feels about their country and have been feeling for the past decade.
Oh I don't really want to start ...another...(sigh) debate on Trump on the internet, but anyway. Yeah he's probably off to be one of the worst person to inherit this duty since the founding of the country but you know what? I sincerely believe Clinton wouldve been worse on many fronts.

#(removed comment) You also do not speak for me, this also proves that you cannot read the pulse of people just because you live with a bunch of sheeps frightened of changes. Many people here has voted for TRUMP and is very excited for next year. It is not his attitude that changes AMERICA but will rather be what actions he will take or apply to help it.
P.S Every single ad hominem you listed to attack his character, any one or two can be applied for any single person. It is called being human and most of them are unfortunately false and under the guise of your views/opinions from the media and that shows you cannot hold any valid arguments when it comes to a political debate to problems that affects the country currently and the changes that needs to be made.
He's the president now, the leader of U.S, and someone who is now the face of the country. Get over it and try again in 4 years or leave like most people threatened.
Also before you attack me and call me a RACIST white republican who ruined the country for even thinking of supporting him.
I'am an Asian and I believe Clinton would had been way worst.
and just because of some silly tweets, this isn't the 1900's anymore and noone is just going to randomly bomb each other over twitter and yes I do feel comforted knowing that our nation will at least has something physical to protect ourselves with than just "WORDS" and imaginary "safe space" to protect ourselves with
Thank you
Good luck and have a nice day.

I guess history will record the future a coming, good or bad. Lets just hope that President Trump doesn't have the last laugh on his own.

6. thundersnow commented 6 years ago
Unfortunately, just because the masses are feeling a certain way and blindly trust someone's "words", does not mean that person will be the right person to carry out his/her duties to the country they are about to serve. This has happened in history too many times.

#2. So he's sent a few dodgy tweets, and he's not the most politically correct Presidential Candidate ever? He might pick his nose and fart at the dinner table too, oh and you forgot to mention that he likes to grab women by the pussy. So what? That behaviour might horrify you, but frankly I don't think it's going to lead to Global Armageddon, much as his political opponents might prefer us all to believe.
Peace and goodwill to all Snotarians.

LOL. Oh the anger and vitriol directed my way. That was to be expected. Trump supporters are passionate, especially the ones who have consumed the Kool-Aid and believe the empty but effective jingoistic slogans and promises that Trump made during the campaign and has NO intent or ability to ever fulfil. Only in America could a politician receive 2.85 million fewer votes than his opponent but still win the election. But that is the quirk of the American Electoral College, something we thankfully don’t have. Not to say we haven’t elected crap governments and politicians but no one as unprepared and as unqualified as Trump. Only time will tell of course – lets check back in a year. The last time America elected an incurious and facile Republican to the presidency he ignored warnings and allowed 9/11 to happen, lied America into a war in Iraq, destabilized the entire Middle East, oversaw the cratering of the US economy and start of a financial depression, skyrocketing unemployment and signed off on a number of war crimes like torture and indefinite detention. And that is the short list. One can only imagine what Trump and his isolationist trade policies, anti-Muslim sentiments, and budget busting wall and military build ups will do. One can only hope and pray your Congress and the grownups keep him in check.

Problem is that we got used to the edgy funny type through sitcoms. It's like electing the next sitcom running for four years.
Sadly this is not about him saying some stupid stuff or wasting a few bucks on some wall or stupid project. He will be forced to make the most important decisions on the planet for four years.
I expect a couple new wars leading to a couple million additional death, i expect climate change to speed up and i expect all of his billionaire friends to get a lot wealthier. I pity the poor soul who thinks that this is no harm, as it is just the tip of the iceberg.

#(removed comment) It seems to me you've bought into the fear mongering and propaganda agenda the liberal news media has shoved down your throat.
I encourage you to look specifically into video and interviews complete with full context instead of the sound bite pieces that bias news organizations like CNN passed along to you.
Let me help you start...
First here are statistics:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7TAAw3oQvg
Now see Trump, supported by statistics, make common sense statement about Muslims coming to the US from other countries.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sz0KY-3PbQ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKtcdn0zAqw (Is it ironic I found some good source material from CNN? Look at how the journalist tries to twist words)
Want examples?
No problem... I invite you to look at what's currently happening all across Europe with Syrian refugees. Look at Germany if you want a specific country. I don't even need to post references, it's so well known what's going on.

Living in germany, I would love to see any reference. There is 1 million refugees over here and I don't notice any change on the streets. What I notice is that the media is exaggerating every deed a refugee commits (good and bad). Not because the evil media wants to lie to us. They want to earn money, and you are way more likely to click on something that is the current consensus.
Crime statistics still show massive amounts of crime from legal immigrants from eastern states like romania and bulgaria and from illegal immigrants from tunesia and marroco. Syrian and afghani refugees are underrepresanted in every crime statistic.
If you really think that immigration is a problem, than you have fallen for the oldest polemic there is. Look at "Gangs of New York". Those who have been in New York 6 month longer don't want the new immigrants in "their" country.
Do you really think those immigrants will take away your job. I really pity you if you, who speak the language better, who is more literate, who has a higher degree than most of them, looses your job to someone coming to your county.
Do you think every refugee who has barely escaped with his life from bombing, raping and murder has nothing better to do than to commit crimes. Sure right wing supremacy will make you think that, because they want to be elected, but that has nothing to do with the truth.

#15 "Do you really think those immigrants will take away your job?"
I'm interested ughlah. What's it like in Germany? Are the immigrants you speak of there working? If so, then they must be taking a position that would otherwise be occupied by a German, and if they're not taking any jobs off Germans, then they must be unemployed, and a burden on the state. They really can't be both can they? Which is it?

Thefox, indeed it is both.
You seem to think jobs is some kind of measure that is limited and can be divided. That is not how the job market works. The stronger an economy gets the more jobs are needed. All kind of jobs and what germany needs are not only high paid employees, but also workers with minimum wage. Jobs previously vacant.
Of course not every refugee has a job. Would you be able to get a job in japan within 6 month, if you moved there without speaking the language? Migration takes time, probably a century, and to be honest i highly doubt all of the refugees will stay. Life on the low end of society is harder than most imagine and home is something that draws you back, as soon as it somewhat safe...

Ok Guys, time to chill
the stew is ready!
I know this argument can be interesting/entertaining for you, but as history shows here on Snotr, it can degenerate in unwanted ways very rapidly. So let's try to keep political debates to a minimum. Keep it civil or I'll close the comments.

It sounds like you have it all sorted in Germany. And just like in every other EU country, the government can direct people to different job sectors by being selective about the immigrants they allow in.
Oh wait...

A Hillary administration would have been a continuation of Obama's failed policies. For years, liberal Democrats have been bending over backwards to give illegal aliens all of the comforts, benefits and rights held by American citizens, and more. This drastically escalated under the administration of Barack Obama.
Obama violated the US Constitution and federal immigration laws in his attempt to win the illegal votes of millions of illegal aliens. He ordered the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security to stop enforcing many of the federal immigration laws.
Under his direction, tens of thousands of illegals with felony convictions were released by law enforcement agencies and jails, allowing them to continue to walk our streets and victimize more American citizens.
The fly-over country voters have now been heard loud and clear and Trump was their answer to the last eight year's policies.
