since we walk counterclockwise we tend not to look on the left side. Now guess wherethe cheaper goods are placed.
Also those goods which have the biggest commercials are on eye level.
Bananas and paprika have a good spot in large food store chains, since they greatest earnings. Transportation cost is very high, so buying huge quantities allows you to set the price at the cost level of smaller competitors, this earning huge.
Dont get me started on manipulation by scent. Ever noticed that scent when opening an apple product. Since people usually feel happy when opening it the scent is anchored. Thus the same scent is in all apple stores, weakening your resistance.

They forgot to mention music, how the music played in a store subtly entices customers to buy more...but I'm so annoyed with the cheesy music played in my grocery store, that I just want to hurry and get out...
