I would have liked to have seen where the populated part started and the surrounding area.

#1 Central part of the city is labeled "California City". https://www.google.com/maps/place/California+City,+CA/@35.119227,-117.9709885,44618m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x80c229d213a60943:0x3458deb43bf50b32!8m2!3d35.125801!4d-117.9859038?hl=en

#2 SoCal gets most of it's water from Northern CA via the aquaduct and the Colorado River, our eastern border. Would be interesting to know if you bought a plot out from the city core if you'd be able to get water.

#3 I see, isn't the Colorado River a bit low on H2O because of Palm Springs an LA, etc....the plots further out may not be for sale any longer..hmm...trying to decide, do I want the one over there or the one a little over to the other side..tough decision ;)

Yes it is, a lot of places withdrawl water along it's path. I'd be a little concerned about the crime rate out there, nearby Palmdale is a major Section 8 housing area especially after the housing bubble burst. Northrop won a bomber contract and intends to build them out there, that should help a lot.

You seem to know the area somewhat, I always thought you were from the West Coast just because of your late at night commenting on snotr...no worries, not stalking you or anything lol, just after so many years on snotr you notice people's patterns...but yeah that Northrop project will definitely change the demographics out there, hopefully in a positive way.
