When I watch rally on TV I notice the spectators are standing in the edge of the road risking to get hit!!!!!

#1 Hope none get hurt!

#2 I was also thinking how close they stood...of course on the other hand they want to get a good view of the rally...

This is why when you go to a Rally as a spectator you always view from the inside of a corner not the outside. also going to take a lot of polishing to get those marks out of the body panels and spectators underware.

Who cares if they got hurt??? How stupid must you be to sit/stand on an outside curve of a race track with no wall? Its right up there with the running of the bulls. Damned if I would even try to help someone asking for death on that level.

Surely it's up to the race organisers to keep the spectators out of the way and safe.

#12 Unnecessarily harsh.
Just how long will it be before the racing authorities prevent people standing on an outside curve? People are stupid - if you can't imagine a racing car spinning out of control and flying towards you then you need someone to stop you being so damned dumb.
