Migingo: The Iron clad Island. The most densely populated island in Africa
Tiny Migingo is one of the most densely populated islands in the world. In the middle of Lake Victoria, it’s home to Ugandan and Kenyan fishermen and their families. RT Doc’s Peter Scott paid a visit to find out how more than a thousand people live on a rock half the size of a football pitch.
Migingo is a small island in East Africa’s Lake Victoria, the world's second largest fresh water lake, bordering Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya. There’s a sovereignty dispute over Migingo Island between Uganda and Kenya but while the governments of the two countries may argue over the tiny piece of land, both Ugandan and Kenyan fishing families live here peacefully side-by-side.

Looked to be a few unfriendly faces on that island, makes you glad to have space, grass, trees and silence. I would hate to live there.

Very interesting docu...I sometimes forget, in the daily rush and routine of my life, how very different other people live...

We all pass judgement, I do too...I don't like it when I do, and I try to be very aware of it, so I do it less, yet I still do...my theory, judgement must be a strong ancient thing in our genes, that helped us make critical decisions to survive in a hostile world...what do you think?

#8 yes, it is an innate feature we possess, the ability to quickly make judgements keep you safe. Don't ignore that inner voice as some segments of our population shame people into doing. Make a judgement, stay safe and move on.

#10 Yes, true, however nowadays it seems judgements are often made prematurely and without the the true threat of an unsafe situation. Done this myself as well.
