Or you could just reverse-park the car on the right hand side. :|

Or you could just get a bigger garage door. 8-) If not it needs automation as continuous pulling on the drivers door is a really bad idea.

And would it really be that easy to pull and push the car when on that slide, I mean, the mechanics underneath must be exceptional to allow that, and with age, it may get stuck some time, then you're screwed (no pun intended!).

#3 Call an Uber? Your mileage may vary: https://medium.com/@kaleazy/a-financial-model-comparing-car-ownership-with-uberx-los-angeles-b7becd917095 (i)

The evolution of transportation is upon us, and once these baby boomers and their gas-guzzling chariots fall by the wayside, should be quite a ride!

#8 you do realize Uber is manipulating the market by making the fares very low, losing 80 cents on the dollar to drive out the competition and in turn screws their drivers out of making decent money.

I'll agree with your second point that baby-boomers might possibly be the worst generation as being extremely entitled and screwing a lot of things up, but I've seen the Bernie supporters and I don't think that ends well either. ;)

Uber is a business by people for people, taxi cabs is a government controlled business going south! :|

#10 that's how it started, but now it's just a massive ploy to push out the competition (which I agree the cabs were horrible at) losing a massive amount of money along the way , but after pushing out the competition you know what comes next.

They've also lowered the pay scales on their drivers hugely, making it more difficult now to make a decent go at it. In the beginning it was a pretty decent model good for both sides, the customer and the driver, but losing 80 cents on the dollar and screwing over your drivers, I've got a feeling there's something more going on than just trying to offer a great service at a great value.
