This dad had a hilariously excited reaction to finding out he has a son after having had five girls in a row.

Yes but there is a slightly less attractive undertone to this if you think about it.

#5. thundersnow asked #4 JJ 'In what way?'

Oh no Thunders. You just asked JJ a 'Wh' question with respect to one of his posted comments. Danger!!
I suspect he will try to be a wacky Zen master on you and reply with something adroit like this:

#5. thundersnow What is your religion?

You know, a perfectly reasonable and transparent follow up.
Or ignore the question entirely.
Good luck getting an answer from him. He has demonstrated that he really isn’t that kind of person.
He is happy to leave a loaded statement on the table. It gives him the cover he needs to remain slightly respectable with the least amount of effort.

#6 Well, well, Austin, you are a little hard on him I think...yes, he makes crazy, wacky and funny jokes on many occasions, and he can be very blunt but also very passionate about things, and he is certainly a creative writer, but I think overall JJ is a kind hearted person, who means no harm. That is the picture I get from "knowing him" only from snotr. Internet is a tricky way to "get to know people", I know that. But over a certain amount of time I feel most people unintentionally reveal some truth about themselves, it just takes longer. In regard to JJ, and I could be wrong, I get no uncomfortable vibes at all, in fact I kinda like him the way he is. This may not match the opinion others on snotr have of him, but that's okay, because I'm going to be honest about how I feel. Of course, I'm only human, and when someone flatters me or flirts with me, I like it, but who doesn't. Then again, you see him differently as man, than I do, as a woman, those differences do matter. :)

#6 Austin you really are so far up your own ass I don't know who you think you are, all you do is type paragraphs and paragraphs of boredom, I seldom read beyond your first line these days. You provoke everyone and then have the audacity to call others trolls when you are the biggest troll on Snotr, take a powder and stop your bullying! :(

#5 Thunders as you know I am not shy of answering questions except they they spring from the arse of a moron.
I think the answer is very obvious but judging by the negatives attached to my comment which probably all came from Austin and his family, possibly not, the answer will be controversial probably true but controversial never the less.
My bet and I'll put my hands up and shoot myself and Austin if I'm wrong is that a Male baby in this family will be much more important than the other five females and my guess is entirely based on religion once again, as I said I could be wrong but it's an observation. I would have liked to see the video other of the first five as they were born.

#8 JJ, even though Austin seems offensive to you for many reasons, overall he is on the "right side", believe me, I wouldn't say it if I did't mean it, and ultimately that's what matters. You said you don't read beyond his first paragraph, well I do, and what he says makes sense, and if you would read all of it, you would see it too, because you are an intelligent man. And both you and I know we need that on snotr right now, right? :)

#9 Thunders my dearest blossom of sunshine on a day of dribble and fog. I have in the past read many of Austins comments and I did say Seldom not Never these days. I have noticed that he focus's in on one part of anything you say and blows it up into a sensational issue which I find very annoying.

If I were guessing I would say he is a politician of a minor party with too much time on his hands as when you ask him a simple question which requires a simple yes or no answer he instead gives you four paragraphs and calls you a troll at the end of it.

In many instances my comments on Snotr tend to be towards the angle that surprisingly no one else has considered or are too afraid to bring up for fear of being called something unsavory like Austin or a racist of which I am neither. I do feel that the world has gone too far with political correctness to the extent that you can't say anything without upsetting someone, take it to it's full extreme and you have several dead French journalists.

It is a very well known fact that in certain religions and cultures the birth of a son is of prime importance and the birth of a daughter often nothing more than an inconvenience. The life of the son is infinitely better than that of the daughter who is often treated as a second class citizen with little or no rights or freedom. As I mentioned before I would like to see the video of the reaction of the second, third, forth or fifth daughter of this man. Perhaps they will be on Youtube somewhere<3<3

#10, Dribble and fog here too this morning, dear JJ, (what a nice greeting! <3 :*) but not for long the heat is on its way. Your comment is fair enough, and I do understand what you are saying. We all have a very personal perception of the same person that could be very different from what others perceive, I actually find it interesting to hear someone else's reception, because it can be so different than mine. That goes toward psychology which is not my strong suit.

The other aspect of Austin, that I didn't mention, is that I greatly appreciate his analysis of comments and especially the correction of certain religious right-wing hate comments that appear on snotr from time to time, that I don't have the skill to correct. I live around people like that on a daily basis, and I cannot tell you how annoying it gets to hear their ranting and hating all the time. So an opinion from the other side of the spectrum is more than refreshing and welcome in my eyes.

I understand what you mentioned about the weight certain cultures put on the gender of their children, and how much more males are valued, and you were concerned whether his reaction was like that only for his boy, or also when his daughters were born. Like you said, it's hard to know by just this video, however, hopefully he was just simply elated that he was finally not the only male in a female run household.;)
