Well that was...what's the word...erm...

Its a high paced tv show with lots of "energy" (somewhat conceived and unnatural, but thats irrelevant) and this style doesn't suit Bill Nye's personality. He talks slowly and needs time to formulate himself properly, and here he seems to be trying to speed himself up, but starts to fumble a bit, which makes the host freak out (since she obviously has had 10 redbulls before coming on). I don't feel she was rude, nor disrespecting Bill in any way. I think Bill should have said no to appear on this show, as it obviously isn't his cup of tea. He is a calm person, with contained energy, and shows his enthusiasm vocally, and not physically. Wrong show, wrong guy, simple as that imo.

#3 Although I agree with you how you describe Bill Nye and his approach, and that it was probably wrong show, wrong guy, however I still think, that as a host you should adapt a little to the differences of your guests as they all come from various backgrounds. Her lack of flexibility shows the one-sidedness of her and her show, but sure it's a morning show, what to expect....

Kathy Lee, what happened? Used to be so classy looking. Wish these older women would stop with the Botox! You look fine without it. There's a bigger lesson to teach younger generations how to age gracefully.

#6 I agree, there is nothing wrong with aging gracefully, there is something wrong with those constantly trying to run from it, and it could be a self esteem issue.

#7 self esteem goes with the territory, competition is what seems to drive it to me. It's obscene the lengths some of these ladies, and often men, go.
