Abandoned dog leads rescuers TWO MILES into the country to collect her 10 puppies after escaping from animal shelter

But, the canine kept escaping and eventually led her rescuers to the litter of puppies that she had been running off to feed.

Great story, she must have trusted her rescuers to have led them there, bless her. :)

I knew there were more puppies down there when they couldn't get her out, it wasn't that she is heavy, she made herself heavy, because she didn't want to be separated from those two puppies still down there. Dogs can make themselves so heavy when they don't want to be carried away from somewhere, my dog does that when we come home from running errands in the car, which he loves to do with me, but when I want to lift him out of the back seat (he's to old to jump down now), he gets so "heavy" because he wants to stay in the car. :)

Not sure the hysterical behaviors help with the dogs' stress levels though
