I honestly think it was brave, but stupid. If she fell off and got ran over, she could have been killed or severely injured. No car is worth a human life...

I hate thieves but not only did she risk her own life but also the life of other - innocent people. That car could easily have hit a car in the oncoming traffic and caused a serious accident. That's why you have insurances, that's why we have the police so you do not have to deal with thieves.

7: I admire your faith for the police... Insurance company will pay you nothing because you didn't protect the car according to the terms (keys in ignition - at least many EU insurance companies require to present ALL the keys to your car when stolen) and police does not really care in most cases, you are just one of maaany numbers in a statistics. However, I didn't want to spoil your dreams in such a brave and necessary institution as the police whose purpose never was to protect you and your property in the first place.

#8 EU is a LOT of different countries. You will find everything from corrupt police states, to peaceful countries with close to no crime. Those words you have do not fit the profile of the country i come from, where the police will come running even if its as small as a guy sneaking on a train. Your world seems to be the cynical one, and i don't blame you for that, we all get shaped and colored by the places we come from, and the places we live. But i would not speak for an entire part of the world like u did there. And i see what your point is; "Nobody will help you, so help yourself" is pretty much the conveyed message. But do you really want ppl to try protect their value to the extent they risk their life? Over a car that is mass produced?

The sad thing is that the bastards that do this kind of thing have no respect for life.
