#1 I see what you did there, and I agree. The bull races and the bullfighting in the arenas have to stop.

#1 : Yes, If you have been to Spain, Italy, some places in Mexico, portugal or the south of France during the bull festivals. It represents the innocence of children and the mimicking of adult life
Here is more if you don't know this bull run.

It's a tradition that is famous since the middle ages, it began with people competing on who would bring the cattle the faster to the market and became this run afterwards, in some place it is associated with Saint Fermin.
#2 : You're right, but this one has nothing in common with it, it's another event where bulls are not hurt, they just run a street and people try to avoid them or run faster.

#4 : This, I don't know. Does anyone have some infos on the history of this strange celebration ?
I kinda remember something on the "sheep letter" (you can see it in Thorshavn museum, it's one of the rare official document written in old norse) about the share of found sheeps, dogs and whales. Back then the whale were very valuable for their meat, oils and bones. I wonder if there is a link.
Anyway if you haven't got to Thorshavn (Thor's harbour), it's a really nice place to visit and even more if you want to know/see some more about pre-Christian Danish and Celtic civilisations (as far as around the 9th century) and trading. But I'd advise to go there during summer lol (else it's really cold).
