RAF Pilot Reunited With The Spitfire

One of the last surviving pilots from Czechoslovakia that served in the RAF during the Second World War has taken to the skies once again.
General Emil Bocek paid a visit to Biggin Hill Airport in Kent, England recently and was given the chance to fly in a Spitfire for the first time in more than 70 years.

Nice to see the allied pilots who did so much but got very little recognition for it at the time...not so many of these guys left now....but they put a lot of today's younger generation to shame.

Wow even though I am English and this stuff is fed to us from school and upwards, I never knew we had czeck pilots flying for us in the war. Great to see an old pilot reunited with his first love :) and great to see English engineering at its best that a machine of this age can still fly :)
