Two farmers in county Kerry, Mikey Joe O'Shea and Richie Griffin, have lost over 45 sheep, worth potentially thousands of euro. They have the thickest Kerry accent imaginable. See if you can decipher what they are saying.

This is the same part of the country. The two auld lads in the hats have the same kind of accent, and you'll be lucky to get half of what's said. One has a baby lamb and a bottle of milk at hand, not too uncommon a sight out in the sticks around lambing time.

#1. I almost choked laughing when I first saw that film.

And I've come across people with accents like that while away backpacking or cycling around the UK...sometimes it was really REALLY hard not only to understand what they were saying...but to keep a straight face as well.

That's what happens to a perfectly good English accent. First it turns Irish be separating the two countries by a bit of Water then it ends up like this example when your only companions are sheep. Same thing happened to the Welsh albeit without the water, and the Scottish because they all wanted to wear skirts except the women. The Men even started to carry dialog books in their purses, but when an English man approaches a Scotsman and points at his Purse, he denies it is a purse and calls it a Sporran, You are not kidding anyone Scottish Men it's a purse, A PURSE!! full of fluff and Lippy. :D
