Awesome pilots. Dam tourists. That pole was misplaced, I guess. But she got the feeling again.

#3 I also share your concern. Burimi is from what I have seen an amazing person. Hope he is doing good and will be back around soon.

#4 Yes, I agree, I don't know him personally, but I consider him a good snotr friend, and without him this place is not the same. I'm glad you are feeling the same way.

Yes, I now do remember, I also commented, but somehow I didn't think he was going to be serious about quitting. I know he was hurt though. That's really too bad, I wished he would cone back. He is a good person. This whole muslim hate is going on my nerves too, Sux started all this hate propaganda here on snotr years ago. It used to make me so angry. It's not getting anyone anywhere. I'm not even one bit religious, but I have no problem with other people being religious if they chose to, and if they keep it to themselves. There are plenty of good people who are also religious, Burimi being one of them.

#3 dear thundersnow. Since almost 10 years I visit Snotr a couple of times a week if not daily. Honestly, all the political comments drive me off more and more. This used to be a place of fun where the real life has to wait. :-( I've been away for more than 1 week and didn't miss it. Sad. But it is a mirror of the current times. Few idiots keep party pooping the life of the majority. Religious extremists, racists, anarchists and every other extreme form of stupidity.

#9 I understand your thoughts. However I feel it's okay to talk some politics from time to time, as long as it doesn't get too offensive, and I'm not sure when that is. Politics happens to be part of our lives just like the weather and we should be able to talk about it too. But you're right, I do remember the feeling of being on snotr and escaping all stressors of life....but I mostly still feel that way here...

It happend in southern France a few days ago.
Human error said the pilot.
No one got injured, and they were lucky to be able to only loose the floater (see bottom pic). They quickly released all the cargo to be able to take off after the impact and fly back to base.
