wow, I respect this woman for her perseverance. But, as I am a pilot, I wonder how she controls the rudder (pedals underneath the main dashboard of the cockpit) to counteract the effects of crosswind during critical phases like takeoff or landing? Rudder is as important as the yoke in some situations...

#1 The plane she is flying is an "Ercoupe", The ailerons, rudder and nose wheel are all controlled with the yoke so no need for peddals.

Imagine what we could do it we used our feet as a extra set of hands instead of just walking on them. Think keyboard instead of pedals.
