So two saboteurs carrying a bag of sand each where brought by two submarines from Germany to the East coast of America to throw sand into these machines, that's gotta be cost effective, or didn't they get on. And a German spy who already worked next to these machines couldn't have gotten hold of some sand and do this himself? No wonder the fecking Nazi's lost the war.
Imagine also the job of sitting down there day after day waiting for the lift to come down with a gun ready to shoot who was inside I bet they got through a few books. :D
