A bold claim in the title.

There is 2.3 seconds beween the moment his hands left the platform until he touched the water. 0.5*G*t^2 gives a height of approximate 25 meters, which is quite likely given 27 meters is a standard height for high diving sports.

10 seconds search on youtube leads to a 52 meters dive in a pool: title debunked.

The highest jump in water is recorded every year on the golden gates in SF.

#4 Dana Kunze jumped 40 years ago .. (and still holds his record) so this isn't him.. if you google budapest 2017 high jump (visible by the pool) you find it's a 27m high jump ramp and not a world record

#5 yea, i was confirming what he said in his comment, i also found Dana Kunze on YT doing the 50+ jump, assuming he found the same record. But i left a question mark in case there is another person.

I might jump ( into a pool ) from that height if ( and I do mean IF ) the building was on fire....no way on this planet would you get me to do it otherwise!

And why oh why is this simply "other" and not "awesome"??

I challenge anyone that doesn't find this awesome to repeat the jump. Yes, in Budapest. Yes, in December!
