Man that looked rather weird to me I would have loved to have been in that plane at that time. What a pilot.

#5 - The impressive thing about the landing is that it is done on such a small landing site. The runway is narrow and not very long. but the pilot still manages to land the plane!
I bet the number-monkey was the pilot in this one!!

Yes, this is impresive, but it can be even more impressive. Check this vid: a landing at Princess Juliana Airport, St. Maarten.

That's amazing.. The pilot must be very an experienced person to do that..Thinking about the landing weight of the plane and its speed, how did he ever make it on that such short runway..
And he even easily avoid the hill..

Really nice landing, but I hope every pilot is capable of that.

#13 - aircraft is not like cars.. landing speed is more than take off speed.. they accelerate to 180-220 km/h to take off (usually for boeing 737) and landing from the sky, from the descent mode, at about 320-360 km/h.. they have to use their aileron, spoiler, landing gear's breaks(wheels), and their angle to decrease the speed dramatically..
*sorry, my english is not very well..
#14 - you are right.. many pilots can do that, but not freshies pilots(new pilots, newly graduated from flying school).. they got to have a lot experiences to do that..maybe more than 200 flying hours..
#15 - I think I will pissed when I see an aircraft coming right towards at me..
