#9 sorry to disappoint you but I'm actually all three:
My mum's English
My father's Californian
And I was born in France (my parents had a 1 year job opening in Paris; let's just say they came home with a baby)

In other words I'd proudly die for England, fight for America and shit on the whole of France even if it killed me. I hate them so much it's unimaginable.

#10 you're right, but don't forget Sarkozy, He's exactly like Bush, but without the whole fun Texan "I just don't give a F'ck, yeehaa" attitude to wash down the mistakes.

PS: he was hella sh!t, but I still loved bush.

Americans should get their heads out of their ass and just live with the fact that they never invented anything ....except junk food ....because they want to set a world record for fatness or something

I don't like the french because of their fag language...and I don't like americans because of their lower than dirt IQ

#(removed comment) Every country invented something !!! that's a fact !!!

Just don't fall into the stereotype ...
By the way the revolver was invented by Patterson Colt not Samuel.

Oh ignorance! #(removed comment).

The principle of conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy by electromagnetic means was demonstrated by the British scientist Michael Faraday in 1821.
....
The first real electric motor, using electromagnets for both stationary and rotating parts, was demonstrated by Ányos Jedlik in 1828 Hungary. He built an electric-motor propelled vehicle in 1828.

Airplane isn't an American invention , they just did the first caterpult flight (Wright bros).

Sextant : I believe that America wouldn't have been "discovered" without it (sailing ships may be a clue there)

Liquid fueled rocket was a WWII German invention afterwhich the Americans let the German scientists "off" so long as they work work stateside .

Don't come back with the jet engine as that was British and German .

The others I can't be bothered to reply to , surfice to say , if an idea came along , the Americans would finance the idea by simply printing money , bring the idea to America and call it an American invention .

#(removed comment) I seem to remember that the assembly line (I know you're thinking of Ford) was a 19th century UK invention which I think was about splitting production of a pin into around 20 different processes to increase production , commonly called specialisation . Made work more boring but made more product .

Wasn't the telephone invented by a Scot called Alexander Bell ?
Picture of whowhatme17 achievements

0 30. whowhatme commented 15 years ago

I stand corrected , the liquid fueled rocket was a yank invention . Robert H. Goddard .
