impressive .. and kinda scary.. i hope it will still be possible to drive a unsmart

i can't turn of ESP on my car.. i've got an electronic handbrake.. so sad.. next car will be sth will preserved from the late nineties
i drove the bmw M6 a few days ago .. and although very impressive it has too much of everything
i must by a mechanical car .. sth primitive.. old 911 maybe.. can i fit a child seat in the back?

#4I to think cars have to much now.
My M5 E60 is sitting doing nothing as it is amazing fun in the dry but as good as a warm ice cream in the wet and snow so it just has to sit there.
Give me an old Escort Mexico or RS 2000 any day for good old fashioned fun, handling and grip with an engine you could take out in an hour and a half, and fix anything yourself.

#5 i really don't know what to buy.. i wouldn't go so far into the eighties .. i want something reliable with easy maintenance but simple and fun

#4 #8. I'm afraid the golden days of motoring are a long way behind us now. I passed my test over forty years ago, and back then people actually used to 'go out for a drive' for the pleasure of it. Roads were new and in good condition, not littered with roadworks. Traffic density was low, and free roadside parking was plentiful. Speed cameras were non-existent, as were other traffic calming measures such as speed bumps and chicanes.
But driving today is nothing but a laborious time consuming and soul-destroying process... regardless of what car you're driving.

#9 well there are a lot of beautiful roads here and i still sometimes go for a drive
for example if i'm returning from a meeting in Rijeka or Pag or Zadar which ended earlier than i have planned i go home using the old roads with almost no traffic at all
to clear my thoughts .. and only an hour longer then the freeway/motorway/autobahn what ever you call that boring thing with speed cameras
