Massive Himalaya Rock Fall in India

When you get a fast moving field of debris it begins to behave like a fluid. What you are looking at is a 'river' of rock, gravel, sand and boulders. If the flow was from water carrying debris with it those huge boulders would sink and stop. The debris field is pure rock and has a much greater mass able to move such large, heavy boulders.

There is in fact water/mud in this flow, but not a lot. You can see it splashing up occasionally near the beginning of the clip. There are likely snowfields somewhere above where we see in the vid. Still, it's incredible. How would you like to fall into that and be ground up? Trust me, it would hurt.
