I get it, but there's always something off-putting by those who try to tell others how to "experience" something. Doesn't seem right to me.

#2 Exactly. I will probably never have the opportunity to visit that place and you're not allowed to take pictures. So how will I ever get to see this place from the perspective of a visitor and not someone like this guy dictating to me how I should feel.

I've been there. And he is completely right. There is no respect, and this was 15 years ago, i reckon that today will be probably worst. The day i went i saw a group a Isrealy teens been expeled from making jokes and other things. FROM ISRAEL!! This is why history repeats itself, times passes on and people start to forget, and when the last survivors perish to the inevitable time, we will just be a bit closer to repeating this helllish action, because afterall we as a species are bond to exterminate in our self procuremente of adavntage... I don't know what makes me more sad (being a young dad), the fear of not giving the best education to my son, or the fear that it doesnt even matter in the society that is being built ran only by ideals and groups...

I haven't been yet and I do have a bucket list and I hope I can be forgiven when I say that there are only two things in my bucket. The first is to see the Northern Lights and the second is to see Auschwitz. I totally agree with the comments in the video and I am appalled that people would behave that way. I am not Jewish but I have watched so many documentaries about Auschwitz and I feel I owe it to the poor people who suffered and died there to pay my respects. There seems to be so little respect in the world these days for other people, so many think only of themselves, lives have become cheap to some people which is reflected in the news everyday. Men once soldiers fighting for their country now in their 80's and 90's being attached in their own homes, beaten black and blue for a few pounds, some even having their medals stolen by youths who don't give a dam! How far away are we from the mentality that created Auschwitz I wonder:|

#5 Jake... you are welcome to my country anytime where we experience the Northern Lights every winter.
-the camps are horrific example of humankinds basic need to enslave and destroy each other. Hope we find a way some day to live in harmony. But that would need a complete change in the system we live in. And we need to evolve for a thousand years before that has any chance in succeeding. Respects to all who had to endure the Nazi brutality.
