I wonder if that forklift driver got any bonus that year?

That may be one of the best warehouse collapse videos EVER. Wow! A shit-ton of inventory ruined by the simplest of nudges. Thermodynamic reactions never cease to amaze or disappoint. ;-)

Makes me wonder if this company is aware of any safety regulations. Seems a bit easy to make the whole bulk to collapse. I'm pretty sure the blame is not on the warehouse worker.

From the Internetz.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6409331/Forklift-driver-causes-entire-warehouse-fall-like-dominoes-nudges-shelving-unit.html

>It is unclear where the clip, captured in July last year, was filmed, which company uses the warehouse, or the condition of the driver after the accident.

>It is unknown whether the forklift driver was injured or managed to keep his job after the catastrophe.

> and the educated guess is that it was a UK warehouse

I am going to go with 'probably not' with respect to keeping his job.

My observation for what it's worth is that those shelves were not fit for purpose. There is no way that was supposed to happen with such a small nudge. If there wasn't already, there needs to be serious regulations in place to limit the collapse to one small section in the event of a actual full on collision not just a nudge like this. I bet the insurance company were very reluctant to pay out after watching this footage.

#2 guy in the forklift unfortunately doesn't need bonus where he ended. :'(

There was one death in that accident. Hope they get the guys who build those shelves. That tiny hit should not be enough to bring them down.
