But to develop it further and make use of it in technology etc is the tricky part. And so far as I know it's not common use.

The only common use of liquid helium I know of is keeping other things cold.

I don't see superfluid helium having any particular use. Anything you try to do with it is almost certain to make its temperature rise, making it no longer superfluid.

#2 Yes but have the scientists thought of doing things to it while keeping it in the Fridge...No no I bet they haven't, it's always the things people don't think about that often solve the problems. I'm pretty sure all over the world where Scientist tune in to Snotr each morning before firing up their Bunsen burners, there will be guys in white coats slowly looking into each others eyes with that Eureka moment look on their faces pushing each other out of the way during the rush to order a Zanussi Fridge. :D:D:D>:):(|):squirrel:

Superfluid helium doesn't appear to be very useful.
What we really need scientists to discover, is superfluid concrete.
