Three quarters of a G of acceleration on the first quarter mile. Not bad.

To fathom and compare just how fast this is , the Agera RS did 0-249 mph in 36.44 seconds while this GT got to 240 mph in just the first 1/2 mile.

The thing I like most about that record is that it's in MPH and not that silly KPH :D

And the thing that makes it go? Y'know... that engine thingy? No insight into that whatsoever.

It's still using the 5.4-liter 32 valve DOHC V8 engine that came in the car from Ford, but it's twin-turbocharged now instead of supercharged. These turbochargers produce a walloping 45 psi of boost, and the engine itself runs on methanol. So yeah, it's pretty bonkers. My Ford F-150 has the 24 valve SOHC version of that 5.4 but with a cast iron block instead an aluminum one.
Fantastic achievement for a small performance orientated speed shop.
