How stupid can one be to long for those days that lead to the war.

We have such a huge right wing in every single country on the planet. Our xenophobia is what lead us into the last world war. For all our sakes i wish that at some point someone will come up with a widely accepted answer to our inner fears, that doesn’t lead us so deep into the rabbits hole that there is no way out but to make thise numbers look small.

On a personal note:
The European Union was never an economic decision, it was a way to create peace between the europeans. For all of you anti-eu believers: each of these small icons is a 1000 death. Each one would make the news for month or years if it happened. What are you willing to give up to never have to experience this?

#2 Am I reading your comment correctly that right-wingers start wars? Then you state the last world war was xenophobia. Germany under the "National Socialist German Workers" party started that war (invading Poland?), clearly not a right wing party. The word "socialist" is actually in the name.

Please clarify.

I don't know about the rest of the world, but in the US most of the wars were started during Democrat presidencies. Many of them can be construed as "bi-partisan" as often there was overwhelming support from both parties but I 'm not sure how this can be seen from the perspective of "We have such a huge right wing in every single country on the planet" when talking about wars.

The National Socialist Party is the most right wing party this planet has ever seen. There was nothing socialist about the party. Just because you call an Elefant Birdy he doesn't start to fly. And yes, xenophobia started the second world war. Thats not even a thesis, that is something only the most right wing morons would disagree with.

As for the US, i'm no expert, but the question is what you define as a war, I guess. Is a NATO lead war or a coalition of countries waging war against countries who refuse to play by the international rules the same as an invasion and decimation of civilians? The only war the US fought alone after WW2 against a country was the vietnam war I guess. Eisenhower was a Republican. I might be wrong about this one.
