#2 JJ, dear friend, wanted to let you know how sorry I am that you lost your dog. I know what a big emptiness they leave behind when they go. Wishing you strength to walk this path, thinking of you! (((hugs!))) :'(<3:squirrel:

Thanks very much Thunders, She was a gorgeous Lakeland terrier, curly coat like a lamb, in the summer the tips of her ears went brown, in the winter they were light like the rest of her. She was a lot like the lighter one of this pair although she was a little smaller, you could scoop her up and carry her very easily. https://youtu.be/IM5mHUDo79Q JJ

#5 Thanks for the link, I had not heard about that breed before, but they are adorable little dogs. Love their curly coat, it must feel good to hold them, they look so soft. Do you have more dogs? I'm sure you have lots of beautiful memories of her. Hope it will hurt less, soon. <3:*

Thanks for the kind words guys. Lakelands are beautiful looking dogs, the problem is they are very variable in nature. I have met people who have had them and said "Never again" There is the working Lakeland (probably to be avoided if you aren't going to work them) and the none working. Problem is they look pretty much the same and you don't really know what you have until they show you, by which time you are stuck. Ours was so gentle and yes the curly coat was adorable to everyone who saw her, a real eye turner.
Also have a Giant (large) Munsterlander much like the speckled one in this video if you aren't familiar https://youtu.be/2XViwtJBJ20 and a couple of Chihuahuas, not like the ones in this link at all https://youtu.be/ftq0TQU3SQc JJ
