If you only have one move, that is the one to have, he probably practices that for fifteen hours a day. This is probably his daily routine, 8am avoids the postman, 8:15 avoids paying the milkman, 8:30 avoids paying for his tube ticket. 9;07 late for work avoids his boss and makes it to his seat unnoticed. 11am avoids making his own coffee by distracting his colleague and stealing his. 1pm the sandwich guy arrives, he avoids paying him saying "I'll sort it with you at the end of the week" he always takes Friday off. 3;30pm avoids making another coffee using tactic of 11am, colleague feeling pretty thirsty. 6pm goes for a drink with the guys, avoids paying for a round, leaving when it is his turn. 8;20pm decides to have a meal in a restaurant, avoids paying the bill by doing a runner. 9:50pm decides to get taxi home, avoids paying bill by giving driver cash attached by a little piece of invisible line which he pulls out of the window as the car drives off. 10:40pm avoids his wife by sleeping with his girlfriend, avoids not getting her pregnant by avoiding using a condom, now has seven children which he avoids seeing as often as possible. The weekend competes in Sumo competitions. The end. JJ

#2 as soon as both hands of both competitors touch the mat it's game on and yes that's a win when your opponent steps outside the circle. Not sure how often that would work but it's a strategy. I saw it used at least once when I watched the sport live.
#4 my thoughts exactly when I was invited to go with a friend recently for the largest sumo wrestling event in the US. I'm sure it wasn't as good as in Japan, but it was actually pretty interesting for the most part. The fun event was where they paired up the little guys with the big guys and as you'd expect there's a few upsets and the crowd goes crazy.

#5 I understand, every culture has a passion for certain sports, I'm a die hard soccer fan, that will never change. But cool that you got to experience it live. If a friend would invite me, I would go too.
