Corvette's Ferrari 458 for a fraction of the price - the new mid-engined NA V8 Stingray!

This is the all-new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray! It’s the latest edition of America’s most famous sports car, and for the first time, it’s gone mid-engined! It arrives with the most powerful engine fitted to an entry-level Corvette, with a 6.2-litre V8 producing 495hp! The question is, with power that's similar to a Ferrari 458, and a starting price of $60,000, which would you choose?!

At $ 60.000 I would call it a bargain, I'm guessing we are talking $75.000 with the top spec, but that is an awful lot of car for the money. I would still probably buy the Ferrari though. O:)

Want to feel depressed? I bet several Tesla models could beat it. Still, I'm guessing it's waaaay fun to drive. Commentator: It shouldn't. That's not free trade.

#7 I wouldn't consider a 3 series a luxury car though I would love to drive a diesel version.

Z06, I speculate that because of limited production and dealer mark-ups, you won't find one for less than $100K USD in the US.

#8 #9 ok not luxury.. but through the movies and shows i got the feeling you have a thing for german brands :)
i bought it because it's a cheap way to drive fast 16000eur , low mileage well preserved .. after remaping under 6s to 100kmh .. manual handbrake and RWD and all that with 7l/100km :)

#10 Very nice. Beautiful car. 302- HP is not a lot for that performance. What is the torque rating?

Yes, the 3 series is a great BMW especially if you want performance. A little peaky, the gas versions require you to stay in the higher RPM range to keep momentum. That's why the diesel version would be interesting (I prefer V8's with the low end torque). The M3's that had a naturally aspirated V8 were stunning in looks and sound.

For overall adulthood use, I like the 5 series. A good compromise between the performance/reliable 3 and status oriented and overly complicated 7 with disastrous reliability and repair costs.

Enjoy.

Hey, Caravans are a utility vehicle and are perfect for their intended market. Many a folk have said never! but succumb to it's perfect blend of practicality and ease of use. There's nothing better than the right tool for the right job. ;)
