So 4 times more people a day are dying of Covid-19 than the FLU world wide as of 1st of April. I'm pretty sure I have spoken to a number of people who have said OOu it's just like the flu and more people die of that, well they can shut up now, next. 8-)

Correct me if I'm wrong, the biggest problem seems to be how much more viral it is and that some have it and don't know it causing further spread. It seems to live much longer in the "wild" than others whereby it's picked up and transmitted.

The numbers will continue to go up as we have no cure for it and we can't continue to stay secluded. We've flattened the curve, but we can't go on like this for too long. Nothing has changed as far as the battle against it, other than retreat.

How many deaths are acceptable for everyone to go back to work? We as a society have to make that determination. It's not fair to our leaders (Trump et al) to force them to make that decision of when to go back to work and not to give them a number. In the US we seem to not blink over the deaths of 50k. That’s roughly the number of each category of car accident deaths, yearly flu deaths and drug deaths from Chinese Fentanyl. This will be more than that.

What number are we willing to accept for living in our modern open societies?

The comparison with swine flu is very interesting.
Arte has displayed the strong involvement of the vaccination industry in propaganda to create fear about the disease.

The German canceler ordered different vaccinations than were provided for simple citizens in 2009 / 2010. First vaccinations run bad and killed many people. This was gladly the end of the vaccination campaign against swine flu, as humans were never willing to be vaccinated!

Actually there are many signs, that per example the comparably unnoticed flu between 2017 and 2018 killed a lot more people than corona and even swine flu and that the correct estimated deadliness and infectiousness of corona does not differ significantly to other flus.

But actually all over the world basic living rights and freedom rights are destroyed. People with critics to this procedure are thrown into psychiatry instead of giving them fair trials. In many countries things like an coup d'etat seem to occur.

Especially Bill Gates, the most important sponsor of WHO, the WHO and many presidents predict, that freedom of movement in future will only be given to vaccinated people AND to people, who get tattooed to sign the state of vaccination.
There are many signs, that this vaccinations as well as those planned signs below the skin could implement the famous sign of the beast, which the mighty try to give to all people over the world with brute force since some few years.

So probably to avoid being vaccinated (and signed) in future could be the most important thread for humans.

#3 "... infectiousness of corona does not differ significantly to other flus." Except we don't see hospitals overrun by other flus. That's where the comparison fails.

Well, garbage in - garbage out.

The first issue is that the methodology for couting deaths by Covid19 is not unified and mostly does not reflect the real cause of death. For example, Italy counts anyone dying and being infected as death due to Covid19, which is far from truth. Many people died due to other health issues and would have died also without being infected. As the pathologists are overloaded, it's easier to "determine" Covid19 as a cause of death than really doing the autopsy.

Secondly, the mortality rate (% of infected who die from Covid19) is much smaller than estimated (5-10%) as there is a huge unknown group of infected people without any symptoms. I assume the overall number of infected could be anywher from 10x till 100x higher than the number of confirmed cases. It looks like the mortality rate and severity of symptoms is dependent on how many "virons" the victim accepted. As they started to bring the most vulnerable old people to hospitals without sufficient protection, the hospital halls themselves caused the people condition to deteriorate and accelerate the sickness.

So yes. Covid19 seems worse than seasonal flu, but multplied by low single digit numbers. The video is very much biased doomsaying with very little truth in it - you the saying about the statistics lies...

#6 I've heard that, but isn't it more true that if you have an underlying problem and the Wuhan virus pushes you over the edge, technically it was still the virus that caused your death? Sure, you may still die in the future, but if life was cut short because of the virus, well- facts are facts.

My understanding is the cause of death is a bit more involved and reviewed by multiple parties before it is ruled and inked. Not saying there may be internal reasons to skew, but I'd assume those would be exceptions and not significant in numbers.

Be safe everyone.
