106-year-old WWI veteran recalls getting shelled and gassed

Laurence Moffitt, one of several dozen American WWI veterans Richard Rubin interviewed in the last decade for his book "The Last of the Doughboys: The Forgotten Generation and Their Forgotten World War" (coming May 21, 2013 from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt), discusses getting shelled and gassed in the trenches of France in 1918.
