Well it worked but I wouldn't want to have to test it, Imagine getting in the pose crapping yourself and just a squeek coming out of your mouth. The next sound you would hear would be yourself being eaten.

I watched some bushmen (is that politically correct?) approach several lions dining on their prey in a special manner, scaring them off. Was mildly shocked by the documentary.

#2 I know which one you mean. They group up and slowly start getting closer and closer to the lions and the lions simply leave. Pretty amazing stuff. I wonder though what methods they tried before and how many poor fellas they lost..

That tactic of making yourself as big as you can will usually work on a black bear, but not on a grizzly. Easy to discern between the two based on the region and the fact that, besides being larger, grizzlies have a hump on their backs behind their heads.
