I learned to do this when I was 18, which was 16 years ago, working for block masons in Tennessee (the Southern United States). I don't understand why this is labeled as a South African art.

these mexicans that do brick work where i work at do something similar to this with will be on the ground with all the bricks while the other stands at 2 story hight and another at 3 story hight and they will toss 4 bricks at a time stacked on top each other to the one standing above..the bricks dont even move and they catch them perfectly stacked...but this is also a nice method to.. :D

Definitely een doing this for a while. It is not easy to accurately throw things up onto a roof and catch them. You must be able to throw them properly and anticipate the throw to catch them safely. Nice video... Good Stuff...
