As a CG artist myself, the cloth simulation for the bed sheets and clothes kicked ass.

lol, i brush my teeth and pee at the same time too.
And that exact same thing happens to me all the time: i get up, take a shower, get dressed ... only to wake up and realised i just dreamt i'd gotten ready for college. Man am i late after those time wasters of a dream X(

i wondered too #5, but then just assumed it had to be a cultural thing, like #6 said

The reason he cant just walk outside is because that is a spring loaded door if he just walks out the door will shut leaving him locked out.

#(removed comment) even if you can't relate to the context of the story, you have to admit that the animation is awesome!! Like #3 said, the cloth was amazing. the way that the bed sheet flew up in the air and then settled down around him, wrinkles and all!!

Pretty cool when you think about it!!
