wow, did you see that? He popped the balloon with his Mind! stinkin'jedi powers.

Actually I wonder why the outer balloon didn't pop...?

The inner one was blue, the outer one was red...I guess a ruby laser is red??

Perhaps it goes through the red balloon but pops the blue...However I am just inventing my own science theories here...

The wavelength of the ruby laser is transmitted through the red balloon and is absorbed by the darker balloon inside.

i have no idea either..but maybe the small balloon was inflated very firm so that the expanding air, caused by the heat of the laser, needed less time to let the balloon explode...

I don't know what he did but it worked. Pretty neat 8-)

#8 - I have seen a room of grown men get more excited than that over popping balloons... It all depends on the girl wearing them though.. ;)

What if the red baloon was filled with helium... would that blue on float after it was popped?

if scientists work on creating a device that can automatically change the wavelength of the laser, maybe they will be finally able to make the "see-through glasses"

#1 A ruby laser is a laser made of ruby (that's how the first laser was made).

#5 My guess would be the popping is not due to heating and expanding air, but that the laser burns a hole in the balloon. A laser doesn't have much power, but the very small area it acts upon makes up for it. In that respect it is similar to focusing solar light using a magnifying glass.

ur red theory is false, basically the red balloon is red because it absorbs all colors except red so red is actually reflected not passing through lol or else u wont be able to see the color red, and whats with all the tards giving the above theorists thumbs up? does anyone that pretends to know what hes doign always right lol? get ur facts straight
