Birds or bees? Oo, that's fantastic, maybe they got their scripts mixed up :).

I'm surprised none of the birds are flying into each other.

Abstract art in motion or just Flubber...

cos each bird actually make a pre adjustment to signal other birds what they intend to do so all the birds know exactly when to turn

This is a phenomenon in Denmark. Well known among Danes and is called 'sort sol', which can be translated to "Black Sun":)

Its definetly filmed in Denmark. Look at the landscape! BORING!!
But yeah it could happen anywhere. But many birds fly from Denmark in the winter season in search for some place with higher temperatures than this shitty place.

I wonder why the birds wanna live here to begin with. We have nothing.... well except the worlds highest taxes :S

#8 as he said Denmark , and might be that birds flock else were but i never seen this before and i live on the west cost of ireland were theres thousands of starlings and they flock but not like this.

From wiki "If a predator bird enters the flock, the starlings initiate a veritiable bombardment with droppings and vomit that soil the feathers of the predator. In rare cases tthe sticky deposits may render the predator unable to stay airborne. Over 20 years, there have been two confirmed cases of young Goshawks that drowned because the incident took place over water."

LOL Would deffinitly keep out from under that one

I wonder, where does the number 300 000 come from? How do they know it is 300 000 birds? Why it can't be 200 000 or 350 000 birds? Otherwise , it is an interesting phenomenon in wildlife.

#14 er det helt oppe i nordjylland?! jeg troede kun det var fra midten og lidt sydover grænsen, troede ikke det var så langt nordpå!

#9 well, we have the title of being the happiest ppl in the world? free healthcare, free education and so on. maybe Americans will call us communist, but I like it this way, i'll gladly pay taxes to help my neighbour, and I know he does the same for me. So okay, a bit high taxes, but im glad here!:)

#11 scientist have their ways to do that, there can be over a million actually. Maybe they made a extremely high resolution pic and just started counting? There must will be some ornithologist that have done that:P
