I still can't see why you shouldn't play with dry ice? It looks fun!

btw u sure it's dry ice? because you can't touch that with your bare hands, another alternative is vinegar+sodiumbicarbonate (i think it was that not sure)

kainim #7 you made me laugh so hard at your comment. yeah vinegar and sodiumbicarbonate is definitely going to shoot something up 10-15m into the air...
vinegar and sodium bicarbonate causes bubbles lol.
Maybe what you are talking about is pure sodium in water, when the sodium rips an hydroxyl group out of h2o it makes a pretty loud bang.
