Can you imagine sitting in a commercial airliner and seeing a bunch of rockets streak up from out of the clouds all around you? I'd piss my pants then jump out of the plane.

I cannot believe anyone would launch a rocket into space with an airliner so close. Suspect to me.

one of the reasons why we have frequent visits by the aliens, we kept on sending garbage into space. :)

I have seen rockets burst through cloud tops countless times in the many years I have watched movies and sci-fi, but it always is so much more cool to see the real thing with no special effects. neat video. ;)

Pretty cool.

#6 It isn't close at all - if you actually saw on a map how far it is. You could say the same about Houston.. no planes within a 300 mile radius right? ;)

just a reminder, there are only couple of so called manufacturing units for those type of so called ammunition, so no matter the platform carrying and launching them as a tactical practice, rest assured those are designed to fit in, be stored and walked around the oceans: that means no matter the flag they be running, size looks more or less the same, and can't become smaller than that. max

#5: To be sure, the SOURCE of the vid is Japanese.... Doesn't mean the rocket wasn't launched by China.

Honestly though, I don't know. Haven't heard recently if any Asian country launched a rocket. May not be so recent though. Vid isn't dated. The only thing I can tell (my kanji reading isn't that great) is that it came from the Asahi daily newspaper.
